Mottram St Andrew to Prestbury

The Trip Home

My first post of 2022 is a little retrospective of an autumn trip in 2021.

The last leg a cycle ride home from Trafford via Prestbury and Mottram St Andrew along the rarely explored footpath through fields. This is a real boon at the end of a long trip out west as it cuts out so much of the final climb into the village. Just when my legs need a break! It is a very beautiful setting with a contrasting vista comprising the gently rolling pastures of Cheshire blending in to the dramatic hills of the western edge of the Peak District in the distance.
